When a child is initially diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, it can be an very emotional and difficult time for the entire family. Thanks to advancements made in treatment and care, people with Cystic Fibrosisii are living longer and better today.  Life expectancy and quality of life are improving continuously. After the diagnosis you begin a journey looking for the best possible care and life for your child. There are many things parents can do to begin preparing themselves for this journey.  On WikiCF you can find some info and practical steps to take in order to help you along this journey and to settle into this new life.
