One month without Anabel Stenzel

Anabel Stenzel ByrnesWith profound sadness we regret to share that Anabel Stenzel passed away one month ago, on September 22, following a hard fought battle with intestinal cancer. With her transplanted lungs, she was breathing easy until the end.
We want to express our sympathy to her family and friends and our sincere thanks for everything she did to inspire people to fully live and to fight for and support organ donation!
Anabel's legacy will live on in The Power Of Two and in all of our hearts.
We are convinced her contribution and example will continue to inspire people worldwide.

We had the honored of interviewing and get to know Anabel. On her own words

At age 40, I think CF has been more of a blessing than a curse. It is a challenging life, but we were exposed very early to things that matter most – passion for life, love and loss, faith and trust. I have had so many opportunities because of my CF that I wonder what I would have been like without it. CF has also taught us that it is okay to be different – we are so grateful for this life, it has given us insight, purpose and acceptance.
